Any ideas on how to fix my issue?
Ever since I installed Airmail Beta Version 3.5.5 (471), I can no longer "Check for updates".
I'm getting the following error pop-up:
Airmail can’t be updated when it’s running from a read-only volume like a disk image or an optical drive. Move Airmail to Applications folder using Finder, relaunch it from there, and try again.
(see pop-up example: https://www.screencast.com/t/wH74GSYvz1)
Running macOS Sierra 10.12.6

Please reinstall the beta.

Sorry, still the same issue after reinstalling the beta,
I noticed Airmail.app now runs from "AppTransLocation". Any way to fix this?

Hello Steve I had exactly this problem and other with "Airmail" and one other Program under the Installation with "Path Finder of Cocoatech". Installation under the Mac Finder then worked. Maybe that's your solution.

You made my day, many thanks! Indeed, I installed the app using Cocoatech Pathfinder and it caused the issue. No more problems after I installed Airmail via the built-in Finder.
