Inline images are renamed when forwarding mail

When I receive a message with attachements, Airmail will properly forward them with their filenames intact. However, if the images are within the body of the email (The sender has pasted or dragged them in), Airmail will rename the images when forwarding the email, making it impossible to reference the original names for the receiver. When this exact same email is forwarded via gmail instead of the Airmail client, names are properly preserved. Can this be fixed?
