do I have to set them as mirroring?
seems an erratic bug
cannot replicate it

This is happening as well. I use two external monitors on MacOS 10.13.5.

I have this issue too. I have one external monitor.
Quitting and restarting Airmail brought the search field back.

Same. I use an external monitor, not with mirroring. When I unplug the external, it does not fix the problem. The only fix is to reboot Airmail.
Airmail, please respond to this group with a fix. This has been going on for some time now.

I experience the same issue. The search bar (top-right) area disappears after the app has been open for X hours. If I close Airmail and then re-open it will appear. Kind of a pain and would like to see this fixed.

my search box is disappearing regularly as well and only restart of Airmail can solve it. It doesn't matter if I have external monitor or not. It happens all the time. Very annoying
