Markdown editor bug - multiple dashes are auto-converted to a hyphen's Avatar

In the Markdown editor, If I want to create a table like:

Tables Are Cool
col 3 is right-aligned $1600
col 2 is centered $12
zebra stripes are neat $1

I am unable to do so, due to a bug. The reason being is that when entering multiple "-" characters in a row, they are automatically converted to "—", and then do not render properly. The only work around is to copy/paste the dashes from another editor.

A sample email showing the results is attached.

For anyone reading this, I discovered a work-around. You can right click in the Markdown editor and disable "Smart Dashes" under "Substitutions".

It would be awesome to have this disabled by default in the Markdown editor in Airmail.
