I have a gmail filter based on an email subject’s text. As I was testing the filter by sending test emails from Airmail Mac, it would not work. I then tried sending the email from the gmail site directly and it worked. I then tried sending from Mac Mail and it worked. I tried another email client and it worked as well. The filter also worked when an email was sent from Airmail IOS. Airmail Mac is the only one the filter did not work on even though the subject's text was exactly what is needed to trigger the filter.
So, what is Airmail Mac doing to the subject line text that is non-standard and causing this issue?

Yes, I verified the emails were being sent.
No, there was no discernible differences in the subject like.
This is 100% repeatable and consistent, so something is going on.
