Mine freezes and just keeps spinning. it won't recognize emails that I know I have emails from (ex. [email blocked]) or subject lines (Ex. Director Fenton Meeting// Follow Up)

I rebuilt my email last week because of other problems. UGH.

The Airmail search is totally useless. Even if I know the sender email address, it can't find about half of the emails. FAIL!!!

What is wrong with the search function? As mentioned above, it is damn near useless. Is there a fix for this?

Yup, it's really amazing that the search just does nothing. I enter an email address in the search bar (from which I have hundreds of saved emails), choose "from", and I get "no messages found"

Tech support has been VERY disappointing on this. I have asked through the support chat system for help with this several times, they usually just stop answering when it is clear that I'm not going to get any help.

Definitely a deal breaker for this app. Too bad, otherwise looked good.

@Michael can you rebuild the account?

Seriously, is this supposed to be tech support?

I asked your level one person in four different chat conversations over several weeks to help with this problem, she kept saying that she didn’t know and that she would have a supervisor contact me.  Finally, I get this one cryptic email from you, and when I reply asking for clarification, I get nothing for days.

    Version 3.3.2 (442).

    Here is the issue:

I have hundreds of thousands of emails stored in folders in a local account, so all of my email is on my hard drive.  I’m only trying to search those, not any of the actual email accounts.

I'm looking for all emails from [email blocked]. I look into one of the folders in the local account and see a bunch of emails from [email blocked]

But when I type abc into the search box, it doesn’t autopopulate with [email blocked]

If I copy the address and paste it into the search box, it seems to recognize it (gives me options like from:[email blocked]), but the search returns zero results, even when I see at least plenty of emails from that address in the folder…

Do I need to do something to get it to search my email folders in the local account?

So I suppose that I should just give up on Airmail since tech support is not available…. Very disappointing.

Yep, mine stopped working again. I've given up on Airmail because of that. I don't mind testing beta versions, but this lack of basic functionality means it's unusable and definitely means I wouldn't consider buying it.
