ICal, Cannot create event or add calender

when I click on a date in an email, a pop up come up "Create Calendar Event" with an arrow. However there is no drop-down. And when I go to setting and then services the drop-down box for Calendar doesn't work.

    Solution:

    System Preferences > security & privacy > privacy (tab) > Airmail > check box allow use calendar.
