Can't set up email account

I have several addresses at one domain. I have one of them successfully set up. I can't set up a second. I see LOTS more settings available for the first one now than I have access to for the second. I suspect that some of those settings are critical. It says that a stable connection cannot be established. I have tried KNOWN WORKING addresses and settings. But the first account can select Auto and Login. I don't have those choices for the second. It starts with "Auto Detect Port" then doesn't find anything. The incoming setting should be Password and outgoing is Challenge/Response. I tried all the combinations offered, all with the same response. I tried the FAQ as suggested but couldn't find anything. Any ideas?
